My problem is it will attempt to run a disc but then the disc will stop all the sudden and crash the system? I have tried to watch many videos of how to fix my problem but nothing helped.
@mckeemanr2020 it is not about how many videos you watched but about what you have tried to fix this. The very first thing I would do is to try and clean the laser assembly. See if any of the commercially available laser lens cleaner will work for you. Use these guides PlayStation 3 Super Slim Repair to work on your PS3 just in case this should be a laser lens issue which you can determine once you have tried to clean it etc.
