Chosen Solution
Hi, I recently started playing a game called Rocket League. I started playing it with a controller but my originally ps4 controller charging cable was not that good. It kept cutting in and out and it was very frustrating. I decided to buy a new one but every time I plug the controller in with that cable it turns yellow for around 3 seconds and then nothing happens. When I connect it with the original cable my computer made a sound but when I do it with the new cable it dosnt’t. I have searched for many days now, and I can’t find a solution. If anyone can help me I would be so grateful ; ).
Sounds like a driver issue. With the PS4 controllers unplugged go into Device Manager, in Windows, and unistall the Controller. Reboot the computer and then plug in the controllers once Windows completely finishes booting up. Let Windows discover and load the driver. Let us know how it goes.
