My ps4 rejects the game disk when I try to put one in it or when it doesn’ have any game disk, it does the sound of it reading a disk. Does anyone knows what could be the problem?

This could be as simple as the drive having internal gears out of alignment. The loading gears are aligned with each other to trigger the clamper which holds the disc while it is spinning. If the gears are not aligned properly, the drive is basically confused and will try to eject the disc to get to a known state. If the alignment is sufficiently off, then the unit will not realize that the disc is not there and still attempt to eject it. The drive must be removed and examined. If not aligned properly, a “rebuild” is necessary to re-align the gears. Dan
