Chosen Solution
This was my first time replacing an iPhone screen so, I could’ve done an error. But, my new screen was working flawlessly for a few days till I started watching movies and all of a sudden my screen goes black. I just clicked the power button off and on and the screen returns normal. Though my problem still persists either with a white or black screen sometimes or constantly. But, as always a quick on and off fixes it for a bit. I tried a hard reset so far and the problem still persists. Is my replacement screen faulty or is this my error?
It sounds like a either a bad connection or a defective screen. Make sure to disconnect the battery before you unhook the screen connection.
