Hi. I recently bought a new screen my old one broke the old screen model differ from the new one and now my new screen failed to turn on ,on my lenovo g50-80 80e5 series laptop but on my other laptop lenovo ideapad 110-15ibr is works fine can some help solve the problem cause i really need the laptop fixed. Old screen model is : B156HTN03.6 [|New screen model is : NT156WHM-N42 v8.0] Thank in advance.

camlinnation  of course you double checked your work etc already. From what I found out the NT156WHM-N42 v8.0 is a generic screen which may not be compatible with your Lenovo laptop. My suggestion is that you replace like for like. Get a proper screen for your computer since the wiring of the connector may be totally different. Just double checked the wiring of the 30 pin connector and pin 3 and 4 are different NT156WHM-N42
