the screen on my Macbook is dark , the book works but I can’t see anything on the screen, is it repairable?
At this point your system should be under warranty. I would visit an Apple Store or authorized service center to have it fixed. If you have any damage dropped or liquid then all bets are off for a free repair. Please explain what happened we still might be able to help you.
Any local PC store must be able to replace the back light. Even you if having enough technical skills could do it (check iFixit manuals). If doing by yourself, disassemble your lcd and look for the part number. You cant then order through ebay. Compare with Apple store services, you could save + $150. Good luck and good repair. JM
