So I got a cracked phone. It was a moto g from 2013 or15. Awhile ago I dropped it and the screen behind the glass broke. I tried to use it. Before the internal screen broke, I went to a shop and asked the guy how much. He tells me it costs 100$. I’m not sure if the cost has gone up..
Lori Smith , Below are link to enable you to replace the screen yourself and where to purchase. If your model differs just do a google search for correct replacement display/digitizer assy. If you are not wanting to do the repair yourself, then $100 for replacement screen assy. installed/guaranteed is probably not a unreal estimate but you can always get a couple more estimates. Last link may be worth looking at as you may be eligible for one time free replacement screen from manufacturer. Good luck.
