Hello. My ME572C tablet has almost always had some screen problems, as it sometimes didn’t detect my fingers on it, or detect them but on a wrong place. Tonight, as I was playing with it, the tactile function stopped working, but this time completely and definitively. I still have images, I can navigate through the menues etc, but only with a pad plugged in the micro USB. I cannot use the screen at all. Do I have to change the whole screen or is there just a small cable inside tha I have to plug again? Thanks for your answer, and sorry for my English!
ninom26 could be a bad touch screen. To replace it you will have to be a bit inventive. Use these guides Asus MeMO Pad 7 and combine it with these Asus Memo Pad ME172V - Touch Screen Replacement to get it done. The screws and cables are a bit different on the ME172V but the principle to get to the touch screen is identical.
