I mostly do logic board repairs, so I don’t do a lot of screen replacements. I noticed the screen on this one was quite costly.. Is it truly an LCD issueIs there any way to repair the LCD itself I already checked and external monitor and it’s not showing a line obviously because it’s not a gpu issue. This one doesn’t even have a GPU Thanks for any advice.
First your system has a graphics processor its just part of the CPU chip in your system. Sorry to say your display had gotten damaged. A bang or something was dropped on the lid are the more common causes. Here’s the part you’ll need MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2013-Mid 2014) Display Assembly and here’s the guide you’ll need to follow MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Mid 2014 Display Assembly Replacement
