Solved My Screen Is So Faint I Can Only See It In A Darkened Room Microsoft Surface 3

Screen not broken and everything still works but screen so dark I can only read in darkened room. Have updated driver etc but no luck

First thing that comes to mind is a backlight failure. If this isn’t the case I would think it could be a display connector issue. Chances are that if it isn’t an OLED or in a OLED family it is a backlight failure.
