my ipod has been in my cra for a couple of days and has got water damage how will i be able to fix this ???? please get bak to me soon

eddie123, my suggestion is to follow this guide. Disassemble your iPod by using these guides Clean the board with plenty of high percentage isopropyl alcohol to prevent corrosion and failure later on. Clean the cable ends and the connectors as well. Replace your battery, Lithium Ion batteries do not like water at all. After you have it clean and replaced the battery, reassemble your iPod and re-evaluate for any further damage. Good Luck.

  1. Open up Ipod and remove LCD
  2. Put ipod in a bowl of uncooked rice for 1 week to dry
  3. While waiting for it to dry order new LCD
  4. When New LCD arrives insert into ipod
  5. Plug sync cable into ipod to see if boots and you get something on screen 6a. if doesn’t boot then battery may need replacement 6b. if does boot then put digitizer back on and enjoy
