Hej Guys My screen its black but from HDMI working on a tv…and of course gets little bit slower and doesnt wanna play anything. Says " video player problem " Can somebody tell me, how can i solv this problem? Thank you
Common issue on this motherboard. Broken solder joints on U8900. U8900 is the chip responsible for powering the graphics processor. You may see posts on line to put it in the oven etc. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE OVEN!!! THAT WILL MAKE IT UNFIXABLE!! This is a fairly easy issue to solve for a microsoldering shop IF they are aware of the issue. Basically the issue is fixed by adding a good flux around the chip and resoldering it with a microsoldering iron and some leaded solder.
