The screen on my tablet consistently turns black, but it is still on. I’m not sure whether it’s a problem with the screen control or the screen itself, but everything still functions. The only way I’ve managed to revert it to normal by hitting the back on my hand a couple of times. And even then, shortly after, it blanks out again. It even blanks out in startup, but not at any specific time period. What should I do?

Hi, As you state that you can ‘make’ it revert back to normal by ‘hitting’ it I suggest that you open the tablet using the following guide and check to see if all the cables are firmly attached in their respective connectors. I am not suggesting that you remove the motherboard or anything else for that matter only that you inspect it to see if there is anything obviously loose that might be the cause of your problem.
