for some reasons, my MBP’s SD Card slot won’t read… so I have to put the SD card inside a USB card reader, then it reads… Is there anyone who got this experience as well? Thank you… Update Thank you, I did take a torch (flashlight) and trying to find if there’s any bent, but I couldn’t see anything. By the way, when put alcohol, must I use a cotton bud? One more question. I just remember that I had disabling the auto download feature on the iPhoto, as I put the SD card in the slot, the system will automatically downloading pictures to iPhoto. Then I didn’t remember how, but I ticked any option to disable it. Could this be also the reason why my SD card slot won’t work? thank you ;)
Hi, take a torch and look at the slot to see if there are any pins bent or missing. Also check for any corrosion. Clean with isopropyl alcohol. be very careful when cleaning as you dont want to damage it. Write back on what you did. Good luck.
