what might be the problem and how can i repair it?
Run an audio troubleshooter to find and fix errors. Open a command prompt by typing CMD in the Search box at the bottom left of your display. Select “Command Prompt App” from the list of options. Then copy and paste %systemroot%\system32\msdt.exe -id AudioRecordingDiagnostic into the prompt. Follow the prompts to select your microphone and troubleshoot it.
