Chosen Solution
While trying to open my Sony Walkman NWZ-E453, I accidentally punctured the outer wrapper of the battery as seen below (Yes, I know that all the iFixit guides warn about this).
It isn’t very visible in the image, but there is a small hole. Can I just put tape over the hole or do I need to buy a replacement battery? If so, where could I buy one (I tried to look for one but couldn’t find the right one). Thanks in advance for all answers P.S. The battery isn’t very good anymore anyways, so it doesn’t matter if I have to replace it. P.P.S. Here’s a picture of the other side so you can see all the numbers:
Anonymous, I’d definitely change the battery. A. because of the not " very good anymore" probably not holding a charge for long and B. because of the damage. To find a replacement, take a look at the numbers on the battery and do a search with that.
