Help! My SoundLink Color says it is connected, but there is no music playing. What could be causing this?
Bose SoundLink Color Troubleshooting No audio from a Bluetooth® device Applies to: SoundLink Color Bluetooth® speaker To resolve this issue, please try the following: Make sure your device is connected to the speaker Make sure the speaker is not muted and the volume is up Make sure your Bluetooth device is playing audio, and the volume is up Your Bluetooth device may be out of range. Try moving it closer to the speaker Move your Bluetooth device and/or the speaker away from other devices that generate electromagnetic interference. Examples are cordless phones, microwave ovens, wireless network routers, or other Bluetooth devices If possible, turn off all other nearby Bluetooth devices or disable their Bluetooth functionality Turn the speaker off and back on If you’re hearing audio from a different Bluetooth device, pause audio on that device.
I had the same issue, and tried all the same advice. In desperation, i deleted all my blue tooth connections to Bose speaker. Reset the speakers to start from scratch so it was like new. Paired all my devices to the speaker, and all worked fine. Not sure why it failed to play, and strange it was all my iPhone and iPad not working, but air-Pods worked all the time.!!
Hi, make sure who have the latest Bose app on the phone as well, I found by deleting the app and re downloaded it sometimes resets the software. I noticed this a couple of times after Apple updated their software. good luck.
Turn your phone off and on, i tried everything other than that and it worked once i did!
I have tried your suggested instruction but still no sound from speaker
