whenever i play the sims game. My superdive makes a noise. It does not happen when i am using the computer normally, only when i am playing the game, because I need the game disk in the drive in order to play it.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Your drive may go out eventually but as long as it runs OK, I would leave it alone.
