Tablet has turned off and will not boot up via charger. The table is several years old could it be the battery and can it be replaced?
Try connecting it to different power sources and see if you’re able to get any activity to show on the screen. Do you see any status lights or icons on the screen when you plug it in?
I had same issue, with one of my samsung tablets. I found out that if i open up then tablet, disconnect the small battery cable for 10-15 sec, re-attatche the cable, the problem is solved. And i can charge again. Just making sure NEVER to let the tablet completly loos power, always make sure that there is power on battery. But much better to replace the battery.
I have the same problem. Good charger, new battery and charge port. Works great unless my wife runs the battery down. Random actions led me to open it up and unplug the battery and plug it back. And it worked! Have had to do that twice now when battery runs completely out. Didn’t used to do that when it was newer though, so something is still amiss.
