My tablet kept freezing and after a hand full of soft resets , i did a complete hard reset , it started out fine but one day later it started freezing again . So i did a soft reset and now it turns on to were the samsung name pops up and thats it.thats as far as it gets . So i let the battery completely drain , and i recarged it and still the same thing . It stops at tge samsung and thats it . It was never dropped nor wet or anything it just started freezing last week. What can i do please , and thank you sincerely jay.
This freezing happened to me when I used up most of the internal memory with apps and pics. Also can happen when an OS update does not take completely or it runs out of battery before it completely updates. Coincidentally, I noticed all of my Galaxy items went through an OS update last week. Did you go through an OS update with your Tab? with all the soft and hard resets, it may be possible that the OS is corrupt. When you did the hard reset, did you select the option to Wipe Data / Factory Reset? If not, can you get the Tab through another hard reset and try that option? Unfortunately, you’ll lose anything in the phone, so I hope you have what you need backed up or on a SD card. Did the Tab exhibit any other behavior other than freezing before it stopped loading the OS altogether?
