My Toshiba model, Satellite C55-C5270, is not booting up anymore. “No bootable device—please restart system” pops out. When I am connected to my internet it says “Start PXE over IPv4, Press to EXIT”
I seen many videos and articles on how to fix it. I enter the BIOS and checked the HDD and everything is in order, I’ve change the UEFi to CSM Boot and the same thing “No bootable device” keeps coming out. Whenever I plug in my internet cable and I turn on my pc it says “Start PXE over IPv4, Press to EXIT” and when I only connect the AC adapter, it says “No bootable device—please restart system” I have disconnected everything, shut off everything and I hold the power to 50 seconds then turn it back on and still have the same issue. I don’t know what do. I need to urgently use my pc. I hope I didn’t lose all my files already. Prior to this, my pc was going very slow and when I turned it on the next day, my pc didn’t start completely, it got frozen during start up. I tried to do a system restore I my pc was saying error, I tried to reset my pc then that also didn’t work. Now im stuck here and I can’t do nothing else except using the BIOS. Please help.
It does “Start PXE over IPv4…” if it can’t find or read the boot drive.
The least problem is your hard drive’s boot files are corrupted or missing. The worst is that the drive is dying.
What to do? Boot-up off a USB flash drive with the Windows 10 install files. Do you have one and do you have access to another computer to Create Windows 10 installation media?
