Now I’m not too great with this stuff (I do not have the resources to do anything myself anyway) but my TV has an extremely dim screen. Is there any way, other than getting a new TV or getting it repaired somewhere, that it can be fixed? If it helps, the brand is Bush and the Model Number is 40/r233FDVD. Thank you.
@cykahero we would really need to see how dark is dark. Post some good pictures with your question so we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question If you can still see it but it is very dim it is most likely a power board issue. If it is darker it is most likely a backlight issue. Both can be fixed but one is easier than the other. Once you remove the back cover from your TV post some good pictures of your boards with your question so that we can hopefully guide you a little bit better. Also, double check your model number.
