My Sanyo tv is cutting on and off about every minute. I’ve tried to do the reset. If I hold reset down long enough the reset menu appears and tells me to hit reset again. If I hold down menu key long enough picture and sound comes back on for about 45 seconds then tv powers off and comes back on with no picture and sound.
If you cant see a picture when you shine a torch on the screen after it goes dark its most likely to be a capacitor on the power board, If you can its the backlights. If after confirming its not got any power then you will need to take the back off and look for bulging caps on the power supply board if you have no clue about the workings off a tv then take it to a tv tech.
