Chosen Solution
My washer is about five years old now and I haven’t had any problems up until now. It will sense, rinse, spin, drain: it does everything except the wash cycle. Whoever used it last way overfilled it and I read it could be the motor coupler but it still spins with no problem so I don’t think it can be that. Any advice?
Solution 1: Rotor Assembly The rotor interacts with the stator to create a strong electromagnetic field, which rotates the tub in either direction. If the magnets on the rotor are damaged, or any part of the rotor is defective, the washer may not spin or agitate. To determine if the rotor is defective, inspect the rotor for damage. If the rotor is damaged, replace it. To determine if the agitator is stripped inside remove it from the washer and inspect for damage or wear.
