2 days before ,1-2 drop of alcohol got into my phone through the loudspeaker. After the accident I could not turn it on.
- Actually, while it had power, was keep turning on ( just the white welcome sreen with the logo) and off, It was no way to turn off. I put on the charger, so it was on the charger all evening and was keep turning in and off. Is there any chance it is not as damaged? {The guy in the service didnt want to bother with it, he said it will never be a normal phone again, so doesnt worth to put money and time in it..} Thanks for any opinion or experience.
panczelkitti871, not sure what alcohol that my have been. Right now it does sound like a bad battery. I would suggest you clean every part of the inside of the phone with some 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. Here is a decent video to help you with that task. After that, replace the battery and reevaluate. Right now it does sounds like a battery error. Hope this helps, good luck.
