My whirlpool dishwasher DU915PWPB0 is not spraying properly. The tub fills with water however when i watch it through the wash cycle the sprayers will only spray the water a few inches and the top spray arm does not work at all. I have disassembled the pump assembly to make sure there were no clogs or debris. There was not. Could this be the pump/motor that needs replacing? Is this a common problem with dishwashers? This part costs upwards of $199, would you recommend purchasing a new dishwasher? If so, do you have any recommendations?
Hi, Check to see that the spray arms and the holes in them are not clogged with debris from the dishes. The one on the top basket is easiest to check first.
