Is the wifi board located on the midframe or is it directly on the board. I have an issue with my S6 with the wifi and Bluetooth not turning on at all. Tried multiple restarts and factory resets I just noticed that I have no sound either so the speaker on the midframe seems to be toast as well. Would you think this is the midframe contacts causing this issue? If so how would I repair this?

The wifi/bluetooth chip is soldered directly to the motherboard. Sounds like the phone has probably experienced a substantial impact at some point, but there could be other causes. If your frame is bent I find it unlikely that the speaker contacts would have lost contact. Either way, your wifi/bt issue will most likely require a board level repair to replace the chip. You want to be very selective about what shop you let attempt this. An inexperienced tech could easily make this bad situation worse. Either way, I cant see it costing less than $125 with around a 10 day turn around time if you can find a reputable repair shop and have to send it off. I would personally contact iPad Rehab in New York and ask if they’ll take the repair.

Hi I have the same problem i trots everything that is possible , diffrent firmware, hardreset, flash with Odin and z3x . The problem is in the logicalboard but i dont see which one is the wi-fi ic.

lenovo a536 didnt had any sound coming from it wether its from video or music files even ring tones. fixed it just by turning the phone of and taking out the battery for couple of minutes and inserting it again and turning the phone on its that simple
