Chosen Solution

I did a hard reset for my childs nabi 2 tablet but I am unable to complete the setup because the wifi button is greyed out. What do I do?

  1. Turn off the tablet by holding the Power Button for 10 seconds. Tap the Power off option on the screen.
  2. Press and hold the Volume + Button then press and hold the Power Button together until a menu appears in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
  3. Use Volume – Button to select and highlight “Recovery Kernel” in green, then press the Volume + Button to select it.
  4. When nabi shows the Android character with the exclamation sign (!), press and hold the Volume – Button and Volume + Button together until the next menu appears. (You may need to try this a few times to make that blue menu appear)
  5. Use the Volume – Button to select and highlight “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” and press the Power button to select it.
  6. Use the Volume – Button to select and highlight “Yes-delete all user data” and press the Power button to select that option.
  7. When “Data Wipe” completes, “Reboot System Now” should be highlighted, Press the Power Button to reboot.
  8. Once the initialization is complete, you will see the nabi welcome screen where you can complete set up.
