Anywhere I can order a new RAM slot/mounting bracket for a mid-2012 MBP or do I have to get a whole new logic board? One of the pins on the top RAM slot is damaged. RAM works fine plugged into bottom slot, but I get 3 beeps if anything is plugged in on top slot because this pin is not connecting.

Your machine will take 16 GB of RAM. It would be easier to just use your single slot and put a 4GB or 8GB stick in it. RAM Type: PC3-12800 DDR3L Min. RAM Speed: 1600 MHz

If you can see the pin which is not connecting, you may be able to resolder it (at your own risk, easy to bridge the pins. You can in theory replace the slots, you can unscrew the RAM slot screws, and I think it splits into two parts (while heating, since it is soldered so the board). You cannot buy new RAM slots, have to remove from another dead board (without damaging pins), then solder to the new board. Definitely not worth it, never attempted it before, but I imagine it is extremely difficult (don’t know anyone who does this). You are more likely to cause more damage to the Macbook, so would recommend just getting a new board.
