The PC works unlike other bios problems that are associated with 4 beeps like black screen however its driving me nuts cant fix it. The Mainboard is old and I have an I5 CPU I was going to use on it however if the mainboard is faulty and cant be repairs I would rather than change the CPU just to remove again shortly after if a new board is needed. The board is a Pegatron by American Megatrends Inc Version 0300 I have tried taking all the RAM out and testing 1 by 1 no luck memory test came back clear, took out GPU no difference and clear CMOS would updating the Mainboard work its old so struggling to find update to flash it. Hi, If it is AMI BIOS 4 short beeps indicate: System timer failure - The system clock/timer IC has failed or there is a memory error in the first bank of memory. The above info was taken from this webpage. http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/ami
