I have a 30gb 4th gen iPod model number A1099. Id like to know if its a photo or regualr iPod.

I believe your 30GB model is an iPod Photo. you can look up the model number on sites like this one Also, according to wikipedia, the “regular” 4th gen iPod only came in 20GB and 40GB versions, so your 30GB one must be the “Photo” version

As the others have said, you have a photo, but a general fact you should know is it’s not really necessary to know, almost all the parts are interchangeable between Photo and 4th gen.
