My PlayStation 4 turns on and ejects and takes discs but the TV stays black. Any idea on what could be wrong with it? It is the first PlayStation 4 that came out.
This sounds like a classic HDMI port problem. These had lots of problems with the HDMI port. Sometimes you can just shine a flashlight into the back of the port and see bent or missing pins but sometimes it’s harder to see. If the light turns white but has no display on the TV then it’s likely the HDMI port. If the light blinks blue then you likely have an entirely different problem. Hope this helps.
