Need help with F-01 error code…can anyone tell me why I am getting this error?
Kathy, F01 is not a valid fault code, but if it is displaying that and all the lights are flashing, the main computer has trouble communicating.The F01 can mean that the central control unit has failed. I would try to first The thing to try first enter and run a diagnostic test. If it fails to run then you wil need to replace the controlunit.there is also a chance that the Motor triac short circuited check motor (especially for corrosion on the connectors) and module connections, if it is o.k there is a possible motor fault. I am certain you tried to unplug your maching and leave it unplugged for a while to give the computer a chance to reset. To start the diagnostics mode Close the door Push POWER Select the RINSE/DRAIN & SPIN cycle Push 2nd RINSE 4times in 5 seconds Push 2nd RINSE to advance to the next step of the test procedure If the starting procedure fails, press STOP, the repeat the starting procedure Hope this helps, good luck.
