Dear iFixit Is there a chance to get the keyboards key butterfly mechanism (2) and the keycap for the “Y” key? My litte daughter already almost destroyed 2 buttons and I don’t want to be missing my MacBook for 2-3 weeks bringing it to Apple to repair it! Many thanks and best regards Erich
At this point the system is so new I doubt anyone has the parts yet. Apple redesigned the keyboard so most likely the Keycaps are different as well. I would contact these folks: The Book Yard to see if they can help you. Good Luck!
