Is there any way to remove the parental lock without paying Nintendo? Bought a second hand one and it’s got a lock, original owner unknown. Firmware is 7.1.0-16E - So requires 10 digit unlock code.
For anyone else with this issue, if you phone Nintendo UK on +44 (0)345 60 50 247 you can have it shipped to them with a freepost label they send to you and they will format it and remove the parental lock free of charge.
