My Iphone was working just fine until it ran out of battery so I left it to charge for about an hour or more then I went to check on it I found it still at 1% every time it boots I enter the password it restarts it doesn’t stop until it runs out of juice . I tried hard resets , removed the sim card , I reset it to its factory settings , I tried manually updating the IOS and I tried disconnecting the battery (which I replaced exactly a year ago) and waiting till the capacitors were out then reconnecting it but all of that haven’t affected it . I know that others have encountered with other Iphones even the Iphone X , I am not sure what it is but I think it is the SSD . The phone has been drop a couple of time but it has been a while , I rarely ever drop it.

The first thing I would try is to replace the battery. The symptoms you describe sound like a dead battery. Plus, you replaced it a year ago which means it may have been a lower quality aftermarket battery. Even with an original Apple battery replacement, you never really know what you had in your hands until it dies. So follow this guide to replace the battery and then report back if the problem is still present. While you’re at it, insure that you are using a known-good Apple or MFi certified charger and Lightning cable.
