Chosen Solution
i replaced a airport card in my friends computer with a new one from ifixit.com using the repair guide on ifixit. and when we powered it on there was no change. the computer still says there is no airport card installed. is there anything i need to do after installing it? getting kinda frustrating, any help would be greatly appreciated.
System Preferences->Network->Set Service Order, OR Network Config (differs with OS)
