Hi, Can anyone tell what’s happening with my MacBook battery? Its just 2 months old battery and was working fine until last week when it had sudden drop in charge from 40 - 0%. Then I did a SMC reset and battery calibration where it appears to be normal now with the run time but still the status info is wrong in both system and coconut battery app. Please check the attached.

Design capacity is being reported incorrectly from the battery. I would claim warranty for this but the battery isn’t easy to remove once it’s adhered to the MacBook’s bottom chassis.
