Hi.. I’ve just fitted a new battery to my iphone 6.. bought the battery from a reputable source. Assembly went well but got a major problem.. phone has been on charge for an hour and won’t switch on… I’ve tried the mute switch button to see for vibration… no charging symbol… nothing… dead… do these new batteries take a long time to wake up from being Sat on the shelf for so long????
What was wrong with the old battery? Hopefully not it went flat then couldn’t charge phone anymore. Was it draining fast and that indicated that the battery needed replacing?
