bought your battery and install kit and followed video. straight forward no problem. but when turned on nothing happens. put on charger and it shows the battery icon at low low capacity. had it on charge for 1 hr and still no change. help.
What was the circumstances surrounding the need to replace the battery, was it dropped? Dropped in water? or did the battery finally just run its course? Which is not uncommon. The reason I ask is because just by guessing it might be a board issue it is having that manifested itself by the battery going bad, you tested another good battery and same issue, that is about all I can gather, BUT it could be that the connection to the board from the battery is not seated well, or that the battery is bad, its not uncommon for a machine to not turn on because of one single bad part, you might try to take the battery out and test it with the charger plugged in to see if it will power on without the battery, some people might not suggest this but its just another way you can test and get down to the bottom of what the problem is, let us know how it goes friend
thanks for the info. after 1 1/2 hrs on charge it jumped to 44% when I checked it. I guess it just took longer than I expected.
