I installed the new battery I purchased from iFixit. I have it charging and Activity Monitor says Remaining Charge : 99%, below that says Finishing Charge. coconutBattery shows Current charge : 7140 mAh Maximum charge : 7140 mAh (100%) Design Capacity : 7200 mAh (99.2%) Manufacture date : 2017-08-21 Load cycles : 1 OS X Battery status : Good. Battery temperature : 25.9C charging with : 4.2 Watts Battery State : charging … The light on the mag charger is still orange. I have has it on charge for about 6 hours now, and its still has not gotten to 100%
it seems you just have to give it a bit more time that I gave it, as soon as I posted my question, it finished and its not at 100% and we are green to go.
