I just replaced a battery in my iPhone 4S using this kit - iPhone 4S Battery Everything went very smooth. No apparent problems. Phone powers on just fine but will not take a charge. I’ve tried 2 different cables. Nothing happens at all. I tried plugging the USB into my PC and I get a warning of “Power surge on the USB port.” Then I get this window afterward: http://i.imgur.com/3w9E6Bo.jpg What’s going on?
Hit up iFixit, and get a relacement battery http://help.ifixit.com/category/133-cont…
Could be just the charging port. Try this or order from another mobile repair store.
