Hello, I recently replaced the battery in my 2013 MacBook Pro with an iFixit battery. It has been working great up until recently. I noticed battery life wasn’t as good as it was but wasn’t horrible. Just this morning I saw the light was green on my charger but when I came back a little later it was orange. I turned on the Mac and there was an X through the battery icon. System Profiler says no battery detected. Checked the inside battery connections, everything looked good. Didn’t drop it or damage it in any way recently, just stopped working overnight.
Ouch! Your batteries micro-controller has failed which is why nothing is showing up. You’ll need to contact the iFixit store to see if you can get a replacement. They offer a year warranty, dig out your order info if you can. iFixit Customer Support
