Hello I recently replaced my iPhone XR screen with one purchased off iFixit. The screen worked well for about a week before the touch functionality stopped responding. Now it constantly stops recognizing touch, sometimes it takes several hours or sometimes it happens immediately after rebooting. Forcing a reboot of the phone seems to fix the issue about 80% of the time, though temporarily. Sometimes it requires multiple reboots. Is there anything that could cause this or is it just a bad digitizer that came with the screen?
I can’t say for certain but it sounds like a faulty digitizer and you should contact iFixit directly as the screen is probably covered under warranty and you may be able to get a replacement screen.
