I just put a new midframe on a 3G and now the proximity sensor is not working. When I bought the midframe I was told it can be used on a 3G or 3GS.
send it back, unless you think you have damaged your connection somehow?If you have changed the digitiser glass this may be the source of your problem and not the sensor as such. Also need to find out why you were changing the midframe in the first place as this may be part of your problem
