Chosen Solution
Hey guys, I just dropped my phone a few days ago and ordered a new screen to fix it. Today I disassembled the screen and replaced it by the new one, but unfortunately the screen appears to have a problem. It looks like every second row of the screen is not working.
On the picture it is clearly visible, just see (or dont, lol) how the uppermost line of the PIN-code field is not visible. Also all of the text looks like on an old iPhone 1. What might be the problem? Is it a low quality screen? Is a connector broken? Did I break something whilst assembling? Unfortunately I can not check it with the old screen, as it is completely broken. Thanks for your help
Double check the connection and the connectors but usually this is a symptom of a defective screen.
