I had an iPhone 7 Plus come in today with a broken screen. The client says the bad screen showed lines yesterday when plugged in. Today after trying 2 new screens and the old screen, nothing happens on screen. No vibration as if the phone comes on or anything. However, when you plug the phone in to a computer, it is recognized be the computer and iTunes. All ports have been cleaned and look brand new. What could be the issue?
If you already tried replacing the screen with 2 verified working ones. The issue is most likely logicboard related. Without looking at the phone I would say it’s related to the backlight fuse to the LCD.
