I just installed an new SSD in the sata drive. I backed up system to time capsule and now restoring time capsule to new SSD as target drive. Is this correct way?
Best know exactly which machine you installed to. Did you do a Time Machine backup? Did you format the drive first? On some systems you can do an internet install of the system. I then like to do either a migration from the old hard drive or a restore using the repair partion.
