I just bought a “won’t turn on” ds lite. Upon taking it apart first and really only thing I noticed is there wasn’t a white wire connected to the board, which I now know is the mic which is missing. When I turn it on the green light comes on then turns off. Hoping that not having the wire connect would be the issue and it’s not something more difficult. Would this be normal behavior if it’s not connected?
Thanks, the missing mic had no effect on the no power. With it all tore down I just tried attaching both screens, WiFi board and battery to the board and powers up fine. I guess issue was just ribbon cable not correctly attached after they remove mic for whatever reason.
