This is a first for me with this issue. My system is alive and will take a charge from any plain old USB-C cable that is not an official Nintendo branded one. It will also not dock or charge on the dock. I know both the Power, HDMI cable and the dock work as I just had another switch in there that worked fine. The pins in the charging port on the Switch honestly look completely fine. Anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing this issue? I can easily open it up, just not really sure what I’m looking for.
Your usb c port needs replaced. The solder connections can break on the board. It has 10 pins as apposed to 5 so if the wrong one disconnects it will stop receiving 15 volts from the Nintendo charger.
